ORLANDO, FL — Hulk Hogan promised many surprises for his TNA debut this past Monday on Spike TV, but one of them surprised Hogan himself.

MONTREAL, QC — On the heels of the successes of live action movie adaptations of popular video games such as Resident Evil, Hitman and Silent Hill, EA Sports has announced open casting for its first big-screen project, 'NHL 10 The Movie'.

VANCOUVER, WA — WWE Superstar John Cena shocked everyone in attendance last night, during a benefit concert held by the Northwest Association for Blind Athletes (NWABA).

During a number by pop legend Stevie Wonder, Cena wobbled on stage and saluted the crowd, before turning towards the blind pop icon to flash his popular "You Can't See Me" hand sign in his general direction.

Requests Trade From Canadian Olympic Team

VANCOUVER, ON — Dany Heatley wants out. STC has confirmed that the 29-year old who has just been named to the 2010 Canadian Olympic Hockey Team, informed the team of his desire to play hockey elsewhere.

Despite the fact that the squad has yet to hold its first practice or unveil its proposed line combinations, the veteran forward is rumored to already be unhappy with his role on Team Canada.

According to reports, Heatley discussed his concerns about what he felt was the limiting of his ice time with head coach Mike Babcock in a telephone conversation just minutes after the rosters were announced last Thursday.

Complicating matters further, Heatley has a no-trade clause in his contract with Canada which allows him to veto any proposed trade deemed unsatisfactory.
